Information Experience Design (IED) is a critically innovative programme that adopts experimental design, both physical and digital processes to generate captivating experiences for diverse audiences. This year’s festival constitutes a recentering of communication and interaction; a weaving of interpersonal, inter-machine, inter-species through universal and intimate framework.

The Festival was held within 9 spaces in White City Campus of RCA, each space has a themed collection of works. The challenge was to summarise the intertwined and entanglements of the festival and create an inclusive visual umbrella that covers all themed spaces and works.

Using the wireframe rotation of colourful san-serif numbers was intended to communicate such inclusivity and diversity. From there, each individual rotation were shaped into symbols that visually expressed the ideas behind every spaces. For the main visual, frames of letters “I”, “E”, “D” rotation, to emphasis the happening is always in process within IED.
